| Preserving the Era of Classic Motorcycling |
| If you've been a motorbike enthusiast for any length of time, chances are that you would have bought many, many motorcycle magazines, kept a few, and thrown away the rest.
Now, years later, you've probably wondered what became of all those magazines; the bike tests, the competition reports, the
interviews with the heroes of the day. Unfortunately publishers aren't
interested in re-printing stuff they long-ago consigned to dusty archive boxes,
so it's left to enthusiasts to keep the memories (and stories) alive...
Enthusiasts like the old-school bunch at vmxStudios,
who negotiated with magazine publishers from the 1960's, 70's and 80's to create The Motorbike Archives.
There are no blurry, unreadable scans here. Each article is carefully
reproduced in full-text, making it fully searchable with enhanced images. We like to think we
have taken great articles from the past and made them even better. It's our
tribute to the dedicated magazine writers whose fine work deserves to be
preserved.
If you like what you see then please subscribe to The Motorbike Archive and get
full access to all the articles and videos. Check out the
Content List, you'll
see that there's lots more.
Enjoy your visit,
The vmxStudios Team
